Well time certainly is flying- I can’t believe I’m on the home stretch! As much as I can’t wait to meet this little babe, I also want time to slow down and savour these last few weeks as a preggy mama. I have LOVED dressing the bump at the various stages of pregnancy and showcasing some of my favourite maternity brands- and the bigger it gets, the more fun it is! Today I’m showcasing some of my favourite looks from Melbourne label PEA IN A POD Maternity.
First up I have to gush about this black jumpsuit. I have literally been on the search for the ultimate maternity jumpsuit since I found out I was pregnant and I FINALLY found it with only 5 weeks to go! Beautiful soft silky fabric, the Cleo Crossover Jumpsuit flatters in all the right places and ties above the bump. From the front, you can’t even tell you’re pregnant, but the profile is all about the belly. Did I mention how comfortable it is? So easy to dress up with a heel or down with sneakers, I’m going to be getting as much wear out of this baby as possible!
Now that the weather is cooling down, there are even more options for styling the bump and I’m loving a form fitted outfit with flowly layers on top like the Laila Wool Vest. I am still obsessed with off the shoulder and am loving the maternity options, like these form fitting tops that also come in a dress version.
And it’s finally cool enough to wear jeans! I’ve always been a little cautious of maternity jeans- if they are worth purchasing and I have to say Pea in the Pod have the ultimate in preggy denim. I’m living in my black skinny ripped jeans- they hold me in and flatter in all the right place. Shop all denim HERE.
Finally, no pregnancy wardrobe is complete without a form fitting stretchy dress– particularly in the later stages of pregnancy when you want to flaunt that beautiful bump. Absolutely loving this blush version– team it with a faux fur or denim jacket for a cool street edge.
